2015 MasterCard African Cities Growth Index

On 2 December 2015, the results of the 2015 MasterCard African Cities Growth Index were announced in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Maputo, the capital of Mozambique, is the large African city with the highest potential for inclusive growth. Casablanca and Lagos rank second and third respectively.

The ACGI maps African 74 cities' economic outlook according to their potential for inclusive urbanisation.
