It is therefore up to us to find a way to reconcile their co-existence "He describes himself as an artist born and bred in Machakos and fine-tuned by Nairobi. A Ford Foundation fellow, Mutua is known for his exquisite work as a travel and architectural photographer. He believes cities and buildings say a lot about the people living in them and has honed this skill to influence the stories told of cities in Africa and around the world.
Mutua was part of an epic road trip dubbed Unscrambling Africa that saw him visit 10 African countries, through 13 cities with the aim of exploring African urbanity, architecture & culture. In his first ever showcase, Mutua and David Blackman in conjunction with the UN-Habitat launched a campaign named ‘I’m A City Changer’, that encouraged city dwellers around the world to focus on what they love about their city. A new climate analysis report has sounded the alarm, this time for Africa. Two out of three cities in Africa are at "extreme risk" of the threats posed by climate change. Issuing the warning, the British risk consultancy firm Verisk Maplecroft through its CEO Dante Alighieri says two thirds of African cities could be affected by global warming in 2035.

Squid Game’s future on Netflix repeats the same strategy that almost doomed Sweet Home, one of the platforms’ most popular K-dramas. While Squid Game is Netflix’s biggest show of all time and can only be described as a pop culture phenomenon, it was neither the first nor the last successful Korean series to arrive on the platform. The list of best K-dramas on Netflix includes both broadcast shows and webseries, with the streamer releasing more and more original Korean titles every year. Squid Game season 2 has been confirmed for a while, but now we know the story won’t end there.
Squid Game season 1’s ending was self-contained for the most part but ended on a massive cliffhanger. While Gi-hum eventually came to terms with his victory and began to use the money he won, he reconsidered his purpose after running into the Salesman at the airport. Player 456 is now on a mission against the Front Man and everyone else involved in the games to take down their operation, but according to the first official synopsis for season 2, he will have to re-enter the games to do so. Squid Game’s next chapter is exciting, but its long-term plan is risky.
