In this saxophone lesson, Ed Barker shows you how to form your first three notes on the saxophone - B-A-G. It builds on the last video in this series where you learnt how to form the saxophone embouchure.

Ed Barker is an internationally acclaimed saxophonist and former sax soloist for the pop legend, George Michael. In 2014, he had a US Number 1 Hit with his debut single, 'When You Smile' which featured on his album, Simple Truth. He now resides in Hollywood, Los Angeles, where he launched the long awaited Ed Sax School so that he can give saxophone lessons to students from around the world.

Wherever you are in the world and at whatever time of day or night, you can take the beginner saxophone lessons with Ed at edsaxschool.com.

Ed truly believes that his saxophone lessons can be taken by anyone:

"You don't have to be a musician, you don't have to read a note of music, you don't have to be born with a musical gene or musical bones - they don't exist! I don't believe in any form of 'natural talent' I just believe in hard work, passion, dedication, drive and motivation! If you really want to learn the saxophone in just six months, you'll get there and I'd love to help you do it."

Make sure you check out the other two saxophone lessons in this series - saxophone lesson 1 is about how to set up and hold the saxophone properly and in saxophone lesson 2 you learn how to form the perfect saxophone embouchure (how the sax sits in your mouth).
