Africa is a large continent made up of 54 sovereign countries and each of these countries offer unique experiences for travelers. There are thousands of cities in Africa but in this video, we shall be shining the light on the Most beautiful cities in southern Africa. Southern Africa is the southern region of the African continent. There are about 10 countries in Southern Africa and a total population of about 68.1 million people with each country boasting of its own beautiful cities. While not every country in this part of the continent can boast of having the most beautiful cities in Africa, there are however cities that really stand out and compete at the international scene.

Considering the fact that there are hundreds of cities in southern Africa, we are going to focus on the most outstanding ones. So, in no particular order, here are the most beautiful cities in southern Africa.
Cape town- South Africa
Cape Town is the legislative capital of South Africa, Colloquially named the Mother City, it is the largest city of the Western Cape province. Cape Town is South Africa's second-largest city, and ranks among the most beautiful in the world. It has a population of about 4.62million people spread over 400.28 km2 of land. With its larger-than-life mountain overlooking the City Bowl, harbor, white beaches and Robben Island beyond, this is a tourists' playground. The city is known for its harbour, for its natural setting in the Cape Floristic Region, and for landmarks such as Table Mountain and Cape Point. Cape Town is home to 64% of the Western Cape's population It is one of the most multicultural cities in the world, reflecting its role as a major destination for immigrants and expatriates to South Africa. Cape Town is South Africa’s second most populous city, a quintessential melting pot of creativity, cuisine and color including pink. Its strategic geographic position at the tip of Africa has seen foreign visitors stopping off at the Cape since the 1400s, each contributing unique cultural influences that make up the fabric of modern-day Cape Town. A mix of Malay, Dutch, French, Portuguese and African flavor is reflected in Cape Town’s stylish restaurant menus, where locally produced wines complement popular seafood and curry dishes. As the meeting point of many cultures, Cape Town is dotted with mosques, kramats, churches, synagogues and temples, while its architecture reveals examples of art deco, Cape Dutch and Malay engineering. Cape Town’s beaches are a huge draw card during the hot summer (November to February) months, while winter surf conditions are more favorable for all surf-related disciplines including extreme wave riding at Dungeons, off Hout Bay.
Gaborone-Botswana
Gaborone is the capital and largest city of Botswana with a population of 2.35 million people. This beautiful city is known for the Gaborone Game Reserve and its sheltered native animals like wildebeest and impala, plus resident and migratory birds. To the southwest of the city, you would love to see rhinos and giraffes inhabit the Mokolodi Nature Reserve. In the city center, the National Museum and Art Gallery display art and cultural artifacts. Botswana capital is the most fascinating city of this country. Gaborone has a hot semi-arid climate as most of the year in Gaborone is very sunny. Gaborone is the center of the national economy. The headquarters of important financial institutions such as the Bank of Botswana, Bank Gaborone, BancABC, and the Botswana Stock Exchange are centrally located, as well as the headquarters for Air Botswana, Consumer Watchdog, Botswana Telecommunications Corporation, and Debswana, the joint diamond mining venture between De Beers and the Botswana government. Gaborone is one of the fastest growing cities in Africa. The growth of Gaborone, especially suburban growth, has caused much of the farmland surrounding the city to be absorbed into the city.
Harare-Zimbabwe
Harare is the capital and most populous city of Zimbabwe.
